Mr. Goss got started in the construction industry as a laborer/carpenter working for local residential contractors in 2001. He went on to obtain an Associates Degree in Construction Management from John A. Logan as well as a Bachelors Degree in Technical Resource Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Mr. Goss’s construction management career began with M.A. Mortenson Construction where he performed project coordination, scheduling, and quality control on wind turbine projects in Kansas. From there he made the switch to commercial construction and started work with Clayco Inc. as a project superintendent. With Clayco, he worked on several large projects including the SLU Research Center in St. Louis, the Chevron Office Building in Covington, LA, and the Proctor and Gamble Manufacturing Plant in Bear River City, UT.
After coming on board in 2009, Mike has been instrumental on several successful projects. These include project management of the Prairie State Generating Company Lively Grove Mine project and the Williamson County Jail project in Marion, Illinois.
