Description:
Complete installation of material handling system of new coal storage facility at existing river dock facility. Project included concrete reclaim tunnel and foundation installation designed for poor soil conditions due to close proximity of site to the Mississippi River. Project also included structural steel erection of two conveyors, steel transfer structures and a 72” radial stacker.
Note:
SMC provided value engineering services to the owner in order to trim cost from the project in order to meet budget and keep the project on line.
